Help reading birth entry Oberampfrach

Can someone please help me read the following entry for Johann Georg Großmüller in Oberampfrach?

I am particularly interested in what the very last few sentences say on the second page. What happened to this child in August 1844? Did he die or was he adopted or did a father claim paternity?

I think it says:

"Johann Georg Grossmüller (18 Oberampfrach, unehelich, männlich)
Der protestantischen ?Ida? ?Rosani? Großmüllerin, des Johann
Andreas Großmüller, weiland Tagelöhner in Oberampfrach
dritten ledigen Tochter, uneheliches drittes
(drittes ???) Kind und zweiter Sohn, ist geboren Freitags
den acht und zwanzigsten Juni Eintausend Achthundert Vier
und Vierzig (den 28. Juni 1844) Nachmittags um 1/2 2 Uhr,
und sonntags den dreißigsten Juni 1844 nachmittags
in der Kirche durch den Pfarrer ?Sommern? getauft worden.
Taufzeuge war Margaretha ?Herlin? Großmüllerin,
jüngste Schwester der Mutter.
Das Kind erhielt den Namen: Johann Georg.
Als Vater hat sich bekannt Johann Schmelzer aus ?Schupffloch?
den. 18. Aug. 1844"

I assume, that "den." stands for "denatus" (latin: died).

In case you need a full translation, please let me know. I just don't have the time to do it now.

I think the child Johan Georg Grossmüller
(mother Eva Rosina Grossmüller)
did not die in Aug 1844;
it was the day of acknowledgement of paternity.

this child's mother has the given names: Eva Rosina

the godmother's given names are: Margaretha Barbara

and the place of residence (perhaps of origin) of this child's father is Schopfloch near/south of Feuchtwangen (not to be mixed up with Schopfloch in the Black Forest).

"den" simply means "on" (no Latin abbreviation whatsoever involved)

- in this context here the record says that on August 18, 1844 Johann Schmelzer from Schopfloch acknowledged paternity.

As the record image clearly shows this final sentence was added later to this church book record and therefore the provided date.

Danke sehr, alle! The two sisters, Eva Rosina and Margaretha Barbara Grossmüller (my 3rd great grandmother) had so many illegtimate children after their parents died. It makes me wonder what was happening to that family or that town at that time period?
