Not a small place but somehow I can't find it at archion? I didn't find it in Hessen-Nassau, Dekanat Diez (a neighbouring town) or Runkel.

Should be part of Dekanat Runkel.

Before 1879 you might look in Staffel. Limburg was s subsidiary until then.

And Limburg was and still is mainly catholic. A protestant parish didn't exist before the early 19th century.

One of my ancestors married in February 1708 on Schloss Schaumburg, south of Balduinstein near Limburg an der Lahn. I think reformiert. Do you know where I could find that marriage? It's not in the Diez churchbook.
