I am still trying to figure out if Georg Schonherr's father was Peter and if there is an occupation indicated in the birth record

yes, his name was Peter but there is no profession given
in the second row is the name of the child's godfather Gevat(t)er

Peter's son, Georg/Jörg, was a tanner.

Do you think that going back a few generations he might connect with the "pfarrer" you mentioned?
I have used the "Pfarrerbuch Württembergisch Franken" before but I cannot find Schönherr. May you be so kind to send me the entry?
