Does Osterwald have a church record book?

Hello everyone.

Does anyone know where I can find the church record book for Osterwald, Hanover?

I am looking specifically to research the following people with the Mesenbring / Mesenbrink / Mesenbrinck surname:

* Hans Mesenbring born c. 1624, who lived in Osterwald: https://www.online-ofb.de/famreport.php?ofb=NLF&ID=I251267&nachname=Mesenbring&lang=en
* Johann Mesenbrinck born c. 1650, who lived in Osterwald: https://www.online-ofb.de/famreport.php?ofb=NLF&ID=I578799&nachname=Mesenbrinck&lang=de
* https://www.geni.com/people/Cort-Messenbring/6000000006822946202 born 1668, who lived in Osterwald

I am curious to know if they are related to each other (and how), and whether or not they are related to the other earliest Mesenbring/Mesenbrinks that I have found elsewhere:

* https://www.geni.com/people/Curdt-Mesenbring/6000000189828468868 born in either 1604 or 1607, who lived in Erichshagen / Holtorf
* https://www.geni.com/people/Johannes-Mesenbrink/6000000051271993151 born in either 1621 or 1627, who lived in Basse
* https://www.geni.com/people/Jacob-Mesenbrink/6000000190266846822 born 1629, who lived in Amsterdam

Osterwald (Garbsen/Hannover) :
At Archion online church books but only from 1697
Whether and how all Mesenbrink belong together, you must find out yourself - I think so.
A contact address is given on the source you mentioned; I think you should ask there for more info.
And for finding people who lived in Holland, there are many good Dutch genealogy databases and
a lot of churchbooks are online. -
Jacob-Mesenbrink/6000000190266846822
you could ask for a copy of the documents ....
A "Jacob Mesenbrink" for example also mentioned as getuige
1655 in Leiden Lutherse Kerk (doep child Ridder) ....

In the Dutch databases are usually also named the responsible archives - of course also Amsterdam

BR. and a happy new year 2023 !

Other variations of this identical family name in the NLF Database

Elisabeth MESEBRING
MESENBRING

More information than already being recorded in this NLF Family Database are almost never available in the NLF holdings.

The first two people you found on GENI are also part of the NLF Database

As an aside: Finding Church Records at Archion

Please explicitly note that the provided birth dates for ealiest known people from Osterwald are calculated birth years only, based on ages at death.

Good luck for your research and Happy New Year 2023

A "Mesenbring" (mentioned twice) in Neustadt am Rübenberge in the 16th Century (April 1560)

One starts "Simple Search" within the holding of the State Archive of Lower Saxony here

Thank you for pointing that out! That is now the earliest attestation of the name that I know of. I'll have to look for other sources that might mention this Friedrich Mesenbring.

I'm guessing the church was Liebfrauenkirche in Neustadt Am Rübenberge?
