Jobst, Christof and Marie Brunker

Did you already check the church registers of Schötmar?

In order to access the records as online available on Archion you need to buy a so-called „Pass“.

Just in case please see more details here

Kind regards,
Vera

Archion doesn‘t have any index / indexed records as you will of course be used to by FamilySearch, Ancestry, MyHeritage or the like - allowing an automated search.

So unless the church registers you‘re looking at do not have any kind of hand written index, I am afraid, but manual search page by page will be required.

In case you already found records pertaining to the family you‘re researching and may encounter difficulties to decipher historic German scipt, you‘re welcome to ask for reading assistance in the specific sub forum „Lesehilfen / Reading Aid“.

Further details how to do so are outlined in this topic:

Don‘t hesitate …. you‘ll make it. 👍

In case you don't succeed, there is a second Lockhausen (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lockhausen_(Bad_Essen)), in Niedersachsen. Several Brunker families lived there, e.g. in 1885 a Friedrich Wilhelm Brunker, at house number 11:

Church records and (some) civil status registers for Bad Essen:

For example, there is a Jobst Henrich, born in 1809, son of (Joh.) Christopher Henrich Brunker in Lockhausen:

A Maria Elisabeth, born in 1810, also daughter of (Joh.) Christopher Henrich in Lockhausen:

Depending on the period of interest, you can use alphabetical indexes:

You can search Bad Essen records in Familysearch (by clicking the magnifying glass):

Niedersächsisches Landesarchiv keeps two documents concerning the emigration of Brunker families from Lockhausen to New Orleans, although no Jobst/Josef oder Christoph mentioned:
