Looking for Berit Rank Jensen from Norway

First sorry for writing in English, I can read some German, but not write.

I'm from Norway, looking for my grandmothers half sister who married Heinz Westerbeck in Wilhelmshaven, 22 May 1948.

Her name is/was Berit Rank Jensen, born 9 November 1918, Drøbak, Norway.
She did get German citizenship in 1944 and moved to Germany. She then lived with a Brandt family in Ostrhauderfehn, Leer, Lower Saxony.

My grandmother could never find her half sister, and now I thought I would try to fullfill her wish, as I have found out her full name.
It might be a long shot, but at least I need to try.

I have written to the Stadtsamt in Wilhelmshaven, but they are telling me that I'm not close enough related to get any information about her.

Where do I look, and how to find her and maybe children.

Anyone that can help?

with the return address of your grandmother - she
should be "close enough" . The addressbook of Wilhelmshaven
of 1950 shows a Heinz Westerbeck, Bricklayer, Kurze Strasse 8.
Maybe he could be the one.?

Maybe the family researcher of Ostrhauderfehn could give you
a little more information about the time Berit lived there for a time with the Brandt family.:

I there no other closer living relative ?
If there is no other help for you -
use an advertisement, for example:
