Es fällt mir schwer, ein Wort in dieser Aufzeichnung zu lesen. Es ist ein Heiratseintrag von 1769 aus Alfeld, Mittelfranken, Bayern. Das Wort ist der Beruf meines Vorfahren Georg Gundl und auch seines Vaters, Ulrich Gundl. Ich kann sehen, dass der letzte Teil des Wortes „meister“ ist, aber ich kann den ersten Teil, der mit „M“ beginnt, nicht lesen. Kann jemand dieses Wort lesen und mir sagen, wie es auf Deutsch geschrieben wird, und, wenn möglich, was es auf Englisch bedeutet? Ich kann nicht sehr viel Deutsch.

I am struggling to read a word in this record. It is a marriage record of 1769 from Alfeld, Mittelfranken, Bayern. The word is the occupation of my ancestor Georg Gundl and also his father, Ulrich Gundl. I can see that the last part of the word is "meister," but I can't read the first part beginning with "M." Can someone read this word, and tell me how it is spelled in German, and, if possible, what it means in English? I don't know very much German.
