I am trying to locate church / birth records for siblings Anton Tippenhauer geb: 08 February 1908, Gustave Tippenhauer geb: 01 May 1905, and Elza(or Elsa) Tippenhauer geb: 01 March 1909. All of them were born in Hamburg, Germany. Their father was Louis Wiepert Gentil Tippenhauer and their mother was Eudovia Feréole. The three siblings' grandfather was Rudolph August Wiepert Tippenhauer, and he was born in Hamburg-Billwerder, Germany. What is the best way to locate their records? I am not finding records for Billwerder's Catholic Church St. Nikolas. Which other churches (any denomination) would be closest to Billwerder that a family would have traveled to for services if they are traveling from Billwerder?
