Udorf

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for church books from the village of Udorf. Specifically, I'm looking for baptisms in and around 1793. I first thought of looking at the Marsberg records, but they don't go back very far. It appears that record keeping was a common practice for churches in the area much earlier. Does anyone know if these records may have been corrupted or if they are kept in an older parish that was separated from Marsberg/Udorf?

Könnte der Eintrag auch in katholischen Kirchenbüchern sein? - Ich kenne mich in der Gegend und mit katholischen Kirchenbüchern nicht aus.

Could the entry also be in Catholic church records? - I'm not familiar with the area or with Catholic church books.

Marsberg ist eine Kleinstadt im nordöstlichsten Teil des Sauerlandes, Hochsauerlandkreis (Nordrhein-Westfalen, Deutschland). Hello,
the history of Udorf >> https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Udorf , is a bit complicated.

First Lutheran then Catholic again. Parts of Udorf used to be in the area of on Hessian territory in the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg, but today in North Rhine-Westphalia.
