Waldner family help

Hello! I was hoping anyone could possibly help me search for a family member from Germany. His name was Anton Waldner. Born October 2 1845. I have on record that he immigrated to America in 1864. He was from Neckarhausen, Wurttemburg. His fathers name was possibly Solomon Waldner but I have yet to fully verify that as I cant access many German records here in America. I would love anything on him if possible. The two main things I would love to find is the reason he came over here and if any pictures are out there of him. His wife was Christiana Bosch. If anyone has any information on her that would be lovely as well. I would greatly be humbled and appreciated of any help I receive. I have been researching my family for a decade now. My poppop was the first to start and he was always wanting to know who his family in Germany was. His mother wouldnt allow the language to be spoken in the home or stories to be told of their motherland for whatever reasons.

You are right, Anton Waldner was born October 2 1845 at 3pm. His parents were the farmer Salomo Waldner, born August 14 1812 in Neckarhausen and Friderika Regina Thumm, born December 12 1813 in Neckarhausen. Their marriage was on September 18 1836 in Neckarhausen.
Salomo's parents were Anton Waldner, citizen and farmer in Neckarhausen and his wife Agnes, a born Bauer.
Friderika Regina's parents were Johannes Thumm, citizen and weaver in Neckarhausen and his wife Friderika Regina, a born Moos.

Looking at the 1900 US census, I think Anton married his Christiana in 1875 when he lived already in the US. So it would be important to know from which city or village she came. Otherwise it's difficult to find out more.
She arrived in the US at the age of 18 in 1865, so she was probably born 1847. The ship was the "Bremen", so the departure port was probably Bremerhaven. She can indeed be found in the passenger lists of the "Deutsche Auswanderer-Datenbank". Search for "Christine Bosch", departure 1865. The extract in PDF format costs 15 Euro.

I have a theory Christianna and her family were from the same town as Anton. Her father remarried I believed to a Thumm as well which furthers my suspicion that the family may have known eachother. I know she was born December 15th 1846

Good hint. I found Christiana in Neckartailfingen, which is the neighbour village to Neckarhausen (only 1km west of Neckarhausen).

Christiana Maria Bosch, born on December 15 1847 (not 1846) at 8:30 am.
Her parents were the day laborer Johann Jacob Friedrich Bosch, born March 27 1815 in Neckartailfingen, died April 9 1898, and Christiana Stückle (Stueckle), born January 25 1822 in Neckartailfingen, died July 30 1849. They married on January 11 1846 in Neckartailfingen.

They had 3 children, of which Christiana Maria was the 2nd.

Johann Jacob Friedrich married a 2nd time on July 30 1850 in Neckartailfingen. His second wife was Dorothea Thumm, born September 30 1826 in Altdorf (1km south of Neckartailfingen). She died on April 27, 1883.

They had 7 children, born betweeen 1851 and 1868.

parents Bosch: Johannes Fischer, shoemaker in Neckartailfingen, and Catharina Fischer.

parents Stückle: Caspar Stückle, soldier, and Anna Maria Knöll (Knoell). Seems they were not married. Anna Maria married the wainwright Georg Adam Müllner from Neckartailfingen later.

parents Thumm: Johann Conrad Thumm, farmer in Altdorf, and Dorothea Schnitzler

BTW the parish registers from Neckarhausen and Neckartailfingen go back until 1558. So if you want to do more research, it's very likely that you can find many more ancestors and relatives.
