Hello Ich sende diese Frage mit einem Englisch-Deutsch-Übersetzer, also hoffe es macht Sinn! Ich suche eine Geburtsurkunde für Herman Jacob Windfuhr, der 26 Oktober 1699 geboren wurde; Ich kenne die Namen seiner Eltern nicht. Die Akten sollen, falls vorhanden, in Westfalen gefunden werden: Landeskirchliches Archiv der Evang. Kirche, Lüdenscheid-Plettenberg; Evangelische Kirchengemeinde. Würde jemand das bitte für mich nachschlagen? Ich würde auch gerne verstehen, ob diese Kirchenregister damals von der einzelnen Kirche geführt worden wären? I am seeking a birth record for Herman Jacob Windfuhr who was born 26 October 1699; I do not know the names of his parents. I'm told the records are to be found, if exist, Westfalen: Landeskirchliches Archiv der Evang. Church, Lüdenscheid-Plettenberg; Protestant parish. Would someone please look this up for me? Plettenberg included. But the family story of the Windfuhr
is written in German and - as far as I know - the google
translator will definitiv not know always  an englisch word for special German words in this paper, what is online to see : Put in the searchword Windfuhr.

Have a look in Meinerzhagen (not far from Plettenberg). On the 31st of March 1744 the widower Herman Jacob Windfuhr marries his second wife Anna Gerdruth Lüdden.

His first wife Anna Catharina dies on 22nd of January 1743 (after a birth) at the age of 38 years and 3 months.

However, I haven't found the birth of Hermann. At least not at the date you mentioned. Maybe you can find his first marriage and his children there, have a look.

and sayed, he found a Windfuhr in Meinerzhagen - but not a birth
for the one you are looking for.

Your Hermann Jacob W. * 1699 could be this one who merried second time. His place of living was here mentioned "Imbeck"
