Seeking reading help with the marriage of Hans Heiss (Heyss) and Anna Margaretha Herbolts on 23 OCTOBER 1691. This is the second marriage of my direct ancestor. I am seeking any details about him and I wonder if the date 22 JULY 1691 is the death date of his first wife (Anna Schoch). Thank you.

Hi Ellen,

No, 22 July 1691 was the date of putting up the banns for the second marriage. You can find Anna´s death entry on page 76 (image 41) of the same book - she died on April 5th, 1691.

were proclaimed for the first time on July 22, 1691
and married October 23, 1691.
