Help with Family Names

Hello to the helpful forum,
I would like some help reading the family name in the record #51 in Goltze in the attached link.
https://www.archion.de/p/8637f041ee/
I am searching for a birth record for Michel/Michael Senf/Semp/Senff in Goltze. Could this be it???
Also the family name of the mother if possible.
Many thanks for your help,
Nettie

Good morning.

As a start....

The name of this child's mother is: Dorothee [Dorothea] Elisabeth Tismann [Tiesmann]

Regarding the first character of her family name please compare to the word "Tochter" (final word in the record immediately preceding this one).

The father's family name end with: .....est - no "p", no single or double "ff"

When you compare it with the family name "Senft [Senff]" as it appears as the name of the first godparent in the record directly below yours I trust it's clear to rule this record out.

Sorry for no better news.
Regards, Vera

Hello Vera,
Many thanks for your guidance.
I shall now investigate the Senft in the record below.

Hello Nettie,

the church books of Freienwalde exist only from 1706. The marriages from 1706 to 1710 are included into the Marriage Index of Berlin-Brandenburg: https://trauregister-brandenburg.de/index.php - unfortunately 1706 is too late for you.
The historical town archive of Freienwalde is included into the Brandenburgisches Landeshauptarchiv in Potsdam and contains (census and tax) records before 1706 (not online).

Kind regards,

Stefan

Hello Stefan,
Thank you very much for the information. I guess at this stage I won't find out anymore about Christian Carlguth.
Your interest is very much appreciated,
Nettie
