Looking for Maibasen

In marriage record #25 from Falkenhagen 1797, it looks like the bride, Ilsa Maria Brakhahn is from Maibasen. I thought it was another homestead in Falkenhagen, but I cannot find it. Ilsa's death record says she was born 5 October 1769. There is no baptism record in the Falkenhagen church records during that time so that makes me think maybe Maibasen was in a different parish. Can anyone guide me on this one?

Correct spelling of the place in question is

Meiborssen

It is today part of Vahlbruch, district Holzminden

Relevant church registers are not online as of yet.
I'm wondering if there is another possibility. The parish which the original record is found, Falkenhagen, is over 400 km away from Vahlbruch. That seems an unlikely distance for the 1700's. I do appreciate your time! --Kim

Falkenhagen, is over 400 km away from Vahlbruch.

I am sorry but that statement is definitely wrong!

You need to be really precise in order to start the journey in the correct place, named Falkenhagen.

Look at the details of the church registers you’re working with: Falkenhagen, in Lippe!

The distance between Falkenhagen (Lügde) and Vahlbruch is about 6(!!) kilometers.

For what it‘s worth: the family name Brackhahn is present in Vahlbruch / Meiborssen.

Thank you so much for getting me in the correct place! I know about being careful, in theory. I didn't make it this time, though. Thank you for the map, your help, and the family book! --Kim
