Hello,
I am reseaching surname SCHIELE in Hillesheim. I am seeking the death record of Jacob Schiele; his son's marriage record in 1842 says Jacob was deceased in Oppenheim. The Oppenheim death records at archion are too early (1780-1796) and (1580-1689). If someone died in Oppenheim, is that referencing the city or the district?
Should I look in nearby villages to Hillesheim?
Do I need to search Oppenheim records in an archive?
When archion digitizes church registers, ALL registers are digitized at the same time. For example, is it possible other Hillesheim registers are available but not yet digitized?
Thank you in advance.
