I am afraid, but that is way to little information to find your great-grandfather anywhere - I am sorry.
Other than that you cannot automatically search any church registers -online available on Archion- for names of people.
And Archion mainly only provides Evangelical/Lutheran church registers.
So in case your great-grandfather was of Roman Catholic religious belief, Archion isn't the right place at all. In that case Matricula Online is the correct place, however you also cannot automatically search Matricula Online records for names of people as well.
May be a better start for your search would be to look / search for his name on genealogy platforms like:
Family Search
Ancestry
MyHeritage
or the like
