Niedersächsisches Landesarchiv
Abteilung Bückeburg
Schloßplatz 2
31675 Bückeburg / Germany
The Lower Saxony Regional Archive was created in 2005 as a merger of the so far independent state archives in Aurich, Bückeburg, Hanover (Central State Archive), Oldenburg, Osnabrück, Stade, and Wolfenbüttel. The regional archive is divided into two departments at the seat of the authority in Hanover and further six departments at the locations in Aurich, Bückeburg, Oldenburg, Osnabrück, Stade, and Wolfenbüttel.
At the location in Bückeburg and under the inventory signature NLA BU > S 8, there are church books from the Protestant-Lutheran Regional Church Schaumburg-Lippe that cover more than 100 Protestant-Lutheran and Reformed Church records from the 16th to the 19th century.
The inventory consists of 107 Protestant-Lutheran and Reformed Church records from 16 parishes within the administrative region of the Protestant-Lutheran Church of Schaumburg-Lippe. Baptisms, weddings, deaths, and confirmations from the 16th to the 19th century are online.
