Mennonite Church Records

The original copies of the church books of several Mennonite congregations are archived in the Mennonite Research Center Weierhof. These books are partly in a poor conservation status; direct viewing on site is therefore limited. In the long run, however, the research center intends to digitize the complete inventory of appr. 12,000 pages.

At Archion, you have access to over 50 digitized church books from 18 different Mennonite parishes. These records document baptisms, marriages and deaths, covering a period from the 17th to the 20th century.
