There are some words and phrases that I need help transcribing - highlighted in red. I was especially hoping to find out more about Friederich Quast's father in this record - if he was still living or his residence. I see that column 7 includes information on the bride's father, but nothing on the groom's father? Thank you for any help that you can provide.

(7) Statthalter Joachim Fritz in Neuhof (since I'm not familiar with the local history, I'm reluctant to translate this as "governor" as deepl suggests. An expert for this region should assist)

Thank you so much for the transcription! This lets me know that the father of the groom was still living. This is very helpful information.

Thank you so much for the transcription as well! Does "verwalter" suggest he was a property overseer/manager?

Does "verwalter" suggest he was a property overseer/manager?

The meaning and correct translation / interpretation of the word "Statthalter" depends on the region in which it is used and also on the fact whom he represents. "Verwalter" is only one possibility among several.

In this context here it may(!?!) be a property overseer.

Thank you so much for the transcription! I will add this to my records.

Sometimes there are fancy words for simple tasks, as in this case.
Or words meant to obscure the actual meaning.
We find these neologisms in all languages.
But sometimes they're also helpful.
When you want to shed a little more light on yourself.
We all know that, right?
